Ajok Florence

AJOK FLORENCE was born in Paicho in 1983, one of 6 children. When she was 12 years of age, the Rebels came to her house and captured her and one brother. She was treated as a slave, carrying heavy loads with no shoes and little food or water. After 3 months, she was rescued and taken to the barracks in Gulu. Her brother has never returned. From the barracks, she was returned to Paicho Camp when they found her family was still alive. She met her husband, married and gave birth to 2 children while in the camp. They returned to Laminto to her husband’s family land in 2009. Florence became a Christ-follower after hearing the gospel at Abaana’s Hope in 2013.
