Medical Clinic

Four Corners Ministries completed construction on the Abaana’s Hope Medical Clinic in 2014. It currently serves the students at Living Stones School and the AH employees and families.

Living Stones Church

The heart of Abaana’s Hope is Living Stones Church. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Hope of the world and that He has ordained the local church to proclaim this hope. Living Stones Church exists to glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ who know the Word, show the Word, and share the Word.

Living Stones Christian School

A quality education is an impossible dream for poor, rural Ugandans. LSCS is making that dream a reality. Using an integrated Christian curriculum designed for Ugandan children, it provides a top quality education for its students who are taught to view the world through a Christian perspective.

Kitchen

Feeding our employees and schoolchildren five days a week is an ambitious task but Abaana’s Hope is honored to use its resources to help address malnutrition. To donate to our school feeding program check our Donate page.

Vulnerable Child Refuge

Sometimes children in our community need a safe place to go where they will be greeted with open arms and a warm meal. The Vulnerable Children’s Refuge is that place. Staffed by a trusted Ugandan social worker and administrator, this home provides a temporary sanctuary for children in need.

Agriculture Areas

Abaana’s Hope seeks to empower people to use their God-given skills to provide a working wage to feed their families. Our Farm Program provides jobs for many people in the Abaana’s Hope community while also providing food for our employees and schoolchildren.

Life Beads

This program empowers women by giving them an opportunity to use their creative skills to provide for their families. Each beautiful piece of jewelry is handcrafted by a specific women and tagged with their story. You can be a part of providing aid by purchasing Life Beads in our store.

Volleyball Courts

The AH community loves to engage in 2 sports, football (soccer) and volleyball. Visiting teams love to challenge our employees in volleyball. Sports is a universal language and allows true and lasting relationships to be developed across cultures.

Production Well

This well provides clean water for everyone at Abaana’s Hope. Teams coming to visit are surprised to have clean drinking water. The Production Well is also the location where we press our own bricks for construction projects.

Soccer Field

Every Saturday this field is flooded with kids who come to learn soccer and hear about the Good News of Jesus Christ. Our sports program was created to encourage, impart skills, and disciple kids of all ages. If you are interested in coming on a trip to serve on our sports program check our Service Trips page.

Imagine a community devastated by war for 20 years, a place where clean water and medical care are scarce, where there are no playgrounds for children to play and where 80% of adults are unemployed. This is the Kinene community, home of the Acholi, a forgotten people group ravaged by the wrath of the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) for two decades.

In 2012, Four Corners purchased 100 acres of land in the little village of Kinene in Northern Uganda to build Abaana’s Hope, a community within a community providing total family care and the gospel of Jesus Christ to the Acholi. Through its family group homes, medical clinic, school, employment programs, and agricultural and water projects, Abaana’s Hope is working to rebuild the community of Kinene.

The greatest impact of Abaana’s Hope, however, is that of its church, Living Stones Community Church. Through Sunday worship and weekly discipleship classes, the men, women and children of Kinene are taught about the love of Jesus Christ and what it means to be his follower.

Abaana’s Hope is rebuilding community and restoring life to the Acholi people, and you can be a part of it. Whether you sponsor a child, make a donation, or join a service trip and spend face to face time with these precious ones, you can impact lives for eternity.
