Aciro Concy

ACIRO CONCY was born in Anaka in 1992, one of eight children. In 2004 the rebels killed her father and first born brother, so they ran to the village of her mother’s family and took refuge. They then came to an IDP (Internally Displaced Persons) camp in Gulu where her mother remarried a man from Kinene. They returned to Kinene in 2009 and she started digging (farming) to help provide for their family. She married in 2011 and had one little boy then divorced in December 2012, and moved back home with her mother and stepfather. She is working to provide for her little boy.
