APIYO ROSE is one of nine children born to her mother and father. By her early teen years, Rose’s father died, her mother was diagnosed with leprosy, and two of her brothers were poisoned to death. Left to the care of an unkind uncle, Rose did not attend school but served her weakening mother. She met her husband in her late teens and welcomed their first child, a baby girl. Two years later, however, their daughter died. After many years of infertility, God blessed them with seven more children. Rose and her husband have begun to turn their hearts toward Christ. She gives praise to God for the changes she sees in her marriage and family as they turn to Him for help. Rose joined LifeBeads in 2014. Working at LifeBeads has enabled her to save money to purchase land and build a home for her family. She is able to provide for the basic needs of her family. She also feels LifeBeads has given others the ability to trust her.
